Title Due Diligence & Encumbrance Verification: We conduct rigorous title due diligence to verify property ownership, identify encumbrances or legal disputes, and ensure that land titles are free from issues that could affect the construction or development process. This includes verifying land ownership documents, liens, and third-party claims.
Drafting/Review of Lease, Sale, Joint Development & Construction Agreements: Our expertise extends to drafting, reviewing, and negotiating leases, sales, joint development agreements (JDAs), and construction contracts. We ensure these agreements comply with local laws, safeguard the client's interests, and mitigate risks related to land and project execution.
Infrastructure Contracts: PPP, EPC, BOT/BOOT Models: We provide legal guidance on various infrastructure contract models, including Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT), and Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT). We help draft and negotiate terms that ensure fairness, risk mitigation, and compliance with Indian regulatory standards.
Environmental & Regulatory Clearances: Our team supports clients in obtaining the necessary environmental clearances and regulatory approvals required for large-scale infrastructure projects. This includes navigating the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process, obtaining environmental no-objection certificates, and complying with relevant regulations under the Environment Protection Act.
Land Acquisition Compensation Claims: We represent clients in matters related to land acquisition, helping secure appropriate compensation for landowners or developers in the event of land acquisition by government bodies for public infrastructure projects.
